The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDrippy tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.

Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McDrippy wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Silva is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McDrippy has managed to free his arm - good work.

McDrippy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Silva scores with a couple of nice shots.
McDrippy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McDrippy is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

McDrippy is rocked!
Silva lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt McDrippy quite badly. McDrippy pulls Silva in close trying to recover. Silva postures up and lands two really hard shots that put McDrippy on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but McDrippy doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
