Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Red Fox (ranked 22684 p4p, 3693 weight class) and Moto Miyashita (ranked 266 p4p, 181 weight class). Fox comes to the cage accompanied by TONIGHT IS MY NIGHT. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Red Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Moto Miyashita!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox ducks under a wild hook from Miyashita.
Miyashita throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Miyashita walks into a jab.

Miyashita darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Miyashita slows the pace down in half guard.
Miyashita lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Miyashita is working for a kimura but Fox is defending it quite comfortably.
Miyashita is pressing down on Fox's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fox is holding on for now.
Miyashita prevents Fox from improving his position.

Fox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miyashita on the ground.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Miyashita.
The referee asks Miyashita politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Miyashita prefers to stall for the moment though.
Miyashita postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The strikes coming from Miyashita are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Miyashita in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Miyashita gets to mount! Fox was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miyashita is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fox has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fox tries to reverse the position but Miyashita maintains control.

Fox blocking the ground and pound.
Fox wants to hold on but Miyashita pushes him away.
Miyashita lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fox is squirming around, avoiding Miyashita's attempts to control the action.
Miyashita scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Fox?

Miyashita has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miyashita sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Fox avoids a series of strikes thrown by Miyashita.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Moto Miyashita dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miyashita.
Miyashita goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Miyashita misses with a hook. Fox ducked under it nicely.
Miyashita throws a combination. Fox tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
A big left from Miyashita misses.
Fox was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Miyashita ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Miyashita scores with a decent looking hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miyashita misses with an uppercut.

Miyashita decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fox looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fox is staying active underneath Miyashita, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Fox tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Miyashita has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Miyashita is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fox to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fox shrugs it off.
Moto Miyashita has got the better of the ground game so far.
Fox is trying to stand.
Fox really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Miyashita is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fox is forced to tap! Great finish!
