Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ciryl Gane (ranked 4717 p4p, 4241 weight class) and Diego Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Pereira told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pereira has Gane up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pereira takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Pereira is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gane can't fight it off and eventually Pereira manages to take the fight to the floor. Gane looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pereira shoots in and drives through. Gane sprawls well.

Pereira closes the distance and pushes Gane back into the cage.

Pereira jumps into guard, dragging Gane to the mat.

Pereira has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Gane drops back looking for a leg! Pereira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pereira manages to kick Gane off! Gane jumps back into Pereira's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Pereira wants to control from the top but Gane keeps moving.

Pereira has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gane is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Ciryl Gane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Pereira.
Gane is trying to force a seperation but Pereira has the dominant position.
Gane will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Pereira up against the cage.

Pereira throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gane blocks it with crossed arms.

Gane is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pereira has just dragged him back down to the mat.

I would just about give that final round to Diego Pereira.
