PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Molton (ranked 3205 p4p, 3378 weight class) and Mengrire Krenakore (ranked 351 p4p, 368 weight class). Molton comes into the arena with Faneto blaring out of the sound system. Mengrire Krenakore acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mengrire Krenakore!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krenakore jabs at Molton's body.
Molton tries for a takedown but Krenakore circles away easily
and Krenakore counters with a left to the body.
Molton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krenakore as he jumps to the side.
Molton throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
enabling Krenakore to counter with a crisp jab.
Krenakore fails to land with a series of punches.
Krenakore throws a leg kick but Molton sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Molton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Krenakore pinned against the cage. Krenakore gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Krenakore was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mickey Molton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Molton throws a predictable looking body shot
and Krenakore counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Krenakore lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Molton checks a leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Molton blocks the leg kick.
Krenakore connects with a body shot.
Molton misses with a takedown
and Krenakore counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Krenakore throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Molton stumbling backwards into the cage! Molton bounces back off the cage towards Krenakore, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Krenakore lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Krenakore celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

After winning the bout, Mengrire Krenakore thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
