The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eros shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Eros takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nice body kick from Jackson.
Eros sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Eros has his takedown stuffed
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand.

Eros drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.
Eros is trying to pull guard but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.
Jeremiah Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Eros.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eros gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Eros has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Eros is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jackson is surviving well by controlling Eros's body position as best he can.

Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eros on the ground.

Jackson tries to improve his position but Eros has taken his back! Eros has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Jackson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Eros pushes Jackson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
