Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Money (ranked 4607 p4p, 4387 weight class) and Lucky Thirteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucky Thirteen !
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Money shoots in looking for a takedown. Thirteen tries to sprawl out of it but Money keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thirteen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thirteen on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Money will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thirteen stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Money. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Money changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thirteen tries to avoid it but Money manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thirteen to the ground. Thirteen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thirteen throws a sloppy head kick and Money moves out of range easily.
Thirteen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Money's guard.
Thirteen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Thirteen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Thirteen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
It looks like Thirteen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Money looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Money is looking to sweep but instead, Thirteen has passed into half guard.
Thirteen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Let's hope that Thirteen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Money trying to control from the bottom.

Thirteen not doing much here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Money tries to clinch but Thirteen moves out of range.
Thirteen looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Money wants to clinch up but Thirteen keeps it at a distance.
Thirteen with the counter takedown but Money avoids it easily.
Thirteen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Money pushes Thirteen off but Thirteen dives into side control.
Money knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thirteen on the ground.

Thirteen just content to control the position.
Thirteen has hold of Money's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Money tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Thirteen cranks the arm and Money screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Money, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Lucky Thirteen !
