Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billiam Johnston (ranked 5119 p4p, 5428 weight class) and Jason Young (ranked 218 p4p, 222 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Young throws a series of strikes that have Johnston backpedaling.
Johnston looks to score with a jab to the body but Young is just out of range.
Young is looking for the big counter here.
Young shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnston tries to sprawl out of it but Young keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnston manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Johnston.
Johnston tries to clinch
enabling Young to counter with a crisp jab.
Johnston displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Young.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnston fails in his attempt to clinch.

Johnston drives through and clinches with Young against the cage.
Young jumps guard but Johnston stands there with Young around his waist. Young gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Billiam Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Young.

Young's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Young shoots for a takedown but Johnston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Johnston misses with a head kick.

Johnston gets a double leg takedown into Young's guard.
Johnston is standing up over Young. Young looks to escape but Johnston dives into side control.

Johnston cracks Young with a big right hand but Young just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Johnston stands up and beckons Young to his feet.

Young shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnston as he avoids it easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Young takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Young looks winded!

Johnston has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Young doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnston circles away.
It looked like Johnston was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Johnston tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Johnston closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Young's guard.

Young is looking for a triangle here but Johnston uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Johnston really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnston passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Young!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnston cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Johnston is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Young is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Young flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Johnston anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Young and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Johnston slips an arm under Young chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Johnston has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Johnston is squeezing on Young like an anaconda would it's prey. Young fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
