Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, My Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rake Ballwood!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballwood lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ballwood feints a jab promting Fighter to slip. Ballwood then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fighter slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A right-left combo lands from Ballwood.
Ballwood throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fighter.
Fighter jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Danga de danga de dang - Ballwood scores with a four punch combination!
No joy there for Ballwood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fighter showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ballwood.

and Ballwood counters with a three punch combo that has Fighter backing up. Fighter nods at Ballwood to acknowledge the strikes.
Ballwood moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Fighter keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ballwood's efforts to push away.
Ballwood is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fighter is keeping busy.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fighter looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Ballwood throws a right and a left that Fighter avoids nicely.
Fighter half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Ballwood's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ballwood duly obliges.

Fighter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ballwood sprawls well. Ballwood wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
Ballwood stalks Fighter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fighter's face. Fighter staggers backwards, shaken.
Fighter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ballwood scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Fighter changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
A left and a right from Ballwood both land. Nice combination.
Ballwood connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown but Ballwood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rake Ballwood showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ballwood throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fighter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fighter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ballwood defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter.
Ballwood throws a low kick, looking for Fighter's leg but Fighter calmly moves out of range.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ballwood but Ballwood pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ballwood fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fighter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ballwood lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Ballwood goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ballwood shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fighter eats them both and turns towards Ballwood to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Fighter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ballwood sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter somewhat.
