Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio De Souza (ranked 868 p4p, 1689 weight class) and Desmond Glass (ranked 116 p4p, 221 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogerio De Souza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 37 - 19 - 2, fighting out of London, Desmond Glass! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and De Souza counters with a nice double leg into guard. Glass scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Glass throws a body punch but De Souza moves out of range. Glass is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Souza. Glass lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. De Souza moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Glass throws a leg kick that misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Glass misses with a looping right. Glass motions for De Souza to come forward. Glass throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. De Souza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Glass pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Glass throws a body shot but no joy. De Souza keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
De Souza on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Glass throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Glass misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Souza lands a jab to Glass's midsection. Glass throws a body punch but De Souza moves out of range. De Souza shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Glass defends it nicely. Glass misses the shot to the body. De Souza attempts a counter takedown but Glass avoids it well and moves away. De Souza has a takedown stuffed. Glass swings for the body but De Souza moves out of range.
Glass tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and De Souza is able to avoid easily. De Souza looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Glass takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Glass pushing out the jab but it's not landing. De Souza attempts a counter takedown but Glass avoids it well and moves away. Glass wants to clinch up but De Souza keeps it at a distance. Glass throws out a loose jab but De Souza uses good head movement to avoid it. De Souza tries to counter with a takedown but Glass is quick to defend against it. Glass loads up on a big right hand but De Souza slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Souza dives in for a single leg takedown but Glass sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rogerio De Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him. De Souza changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Glass fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Desmond Glass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for De Souza, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Glass punishes De Souza's body with a nice straight punch. Glass misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from De Souza.
Glass rushes De Souza and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Souza wants a takedown.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Glass goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Glass struggles to land a body shot inside as De Souza controls his hands.
Glass fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Glass cracks De Souza with a nice body shot. Glass doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Glass is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Glass obliges. De Souza is breathing heavily. A hook to the body from Glass.
Glass is leaning against De Souza and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Glass lands a left hand.
Glass lands with a right to the head. Glass makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glass is working De Souza over against the cage. Glass misses with a body punch.

Glass lands a body shot in the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Glass. Glass works on De Souza's body with a couple of short punches. Glass landing knees to the body.
Glass pushes De Souza back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Glass lands a left hand.
A short right from Glass. A short uppercut from Glass. Glass tries to work over De Souza's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Knees in the clinch landing for Glass.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A right hook to the body lands for Glass.
Glass pushes De Souza back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Glass scores with an uppercut up the middle. De Souza manages to break the clinch.
Glass scores with a punch to the head. Glass fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Souza manages to avoid it. A chopping leg kick lands by Glass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glass misses with an uppercut. De Souza half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Glass lands a jab. Glass throws a leg kick and De Souza counters with a nice double leg into guard. De Souza won't allow Glass to get back to his feet. Glass manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. De Souza pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Glass throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Glass works the jab nicely. De Souza avoids the body shot from Glass.
De Souza gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Glass looks to land a left hand but De Souza moved out of range nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Glass drops De Souza with a beautiful combination! De Souza stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Glass is looking for the KO!
De Souza is rocked! Glass fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks De Souza square on the jaw! Damn, De Souza is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
