Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dom Dober (ranked 6126 p4p, 6113 weight class) and Quicky One (ranked 599 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dom Dober!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quicky One!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dober. That did some damage!
One lands with a good body shot.
One jabs at Dober's body.
One fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dober doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling One to counter with a crisp jab.

Dober has closed the distance and engaged One in a clinch.

Dober's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Some wild striking there from Dober.
One dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Dober drives through with a takedown into One's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

One is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dober presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
One's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Dober is looking for a takedown up against the cage. One gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Dober gets a trip takedown into half guard.
One won't allow Dober to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dober has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dober content to control rather than advance.
Dober is pressing down on One's thigh, looking to free his foot. One is holding on for now.

Still in half guard, Dober seems content to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Dober looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
One was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

One really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dober. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dober gets to his feet - One follows without any prompting.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

One wants to get back to full guard.
Dober content to control rather than advance.
Dober thows a huge punch but One dodges it nicely.

A close round but Quicky One will probably get the nod.

Dober throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. One tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dober is in One's guard.

One is working an open guard so Dober takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
One displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
One throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dober on the side of the head.
Quicky One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
One dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dober shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and One connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dober has his takedown stuffed
and One counters with a nice uppercut.
One lands a jab to the head.
Dom Dober is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

One tries to keep at a distance but Dober has taken the fight into the clinch.
One tries to stall but Dober uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Dober tried to land a shot to the body but connects with One's elbow.

Dober successfully pulls guard.
One stops Dober from standing up.
Dober controls One momentarily but One frees himself.
Dober is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

One is breathing heavily.

Dober decides to stand and escape the position.

One lands with a nice body kick.
One lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dober gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Dober shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and One counters with a nice kick to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dom Dober. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dober closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. One quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dober wants to work for an arm triangle but One is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dober is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dober lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Dober passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for One!

Dom Dober overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

One defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Dober.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Dober shoots in for a double leg but One sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
One works the jab nicely.
Dober finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dober throws a sloppy body shot
and One counters with a left and a right that stings Dober.
One lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Dober feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

One is looking to stand back up but Dober counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by One.

Dober has hold of one of One's legs. One is fighting the takedown attempt but Dober gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Dober.

Dober decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on One, up you get!
Dober throws a wild body kick that One sees coming a mile off.
One doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
One misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

One gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
