Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jewel Diaz (ranked 728 p4p, 721 weight class) and James Quin (ranked 86 p4p, 85 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Andre Nickatina, Drought Season. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jewel Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Quin! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.
A low kick from Quin misses and Diaz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quin's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Nice uppercut lands for Diaz. That snapped Quin's head back.

Quin throws a jab when Diaz was well out of range. Quin throws a nice inside leg kick. Quin misses with an uppercut. Diaz saw that one coming. Diaz moves out of range as Quin strikes. James Quin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Quin trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
