Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hong Kong!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dude McWrestler!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWrestler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kong.
McWrestler doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kong shoots and misses
and McWrestler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kong shoots in but McWrestler avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hong Kong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab lands there for McWrestler.
Kong shoots in and drives through. McWrestler sprawls well.
McWrestler throws a hook but Kong blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McWrestler misses with a wild body shot.
McWrestler throws a big shot that misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kong.
McWrestler paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Kong tries for a takedown but McWrestler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kong looks to score with a jab to the body but McWrestler is just out of range.
Dude McWrestler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kong with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dude McWrestler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McWrestler throws a lazy uppercut

and Kong counters with a takedown into side control.
McWrestler has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Kong tries for a kimura but McWrestler is defending well.
McWrestler is trying to improve his position.
McWrestler manages to get back to half guard.
McWrestler controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
McWrestler trying to control from the bottom.

Kong looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Kong prevents McWrestler from improving his position.
McWrestler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McWrestler desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Kong throwing shots but McWrestler is blocking nicely.
McWrestler manages to get to full guard.
McWrestler keeping full guard, as Kong tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McWrestler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kong is one step ahead there.
McWrestler controlling the position.
Kong working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McWrestler's head.
McWrestler is adopting a defensive guard.
McWrestler keeping full guard, as Kong tries to pass.
Kong wants to control from the top but McWrestler keeps moving.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kong throws a big right hand that misses.
McWrestler keeping moving, preventing Kong from controlling successfully.
McWrestler wants to sweep but no luck.
McWrestler is wriggling around but Kong manages to pass to half guard.
Kong is looking to take a break and control but McWrestler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McWrestler is trying to maintain the position but Kong is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McWrestler is trying to get back to full guard.
Kong is thwarting McWrestler's attempts to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dude McWrestler dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and McWrestler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

McWrestler missing with a left hand there. Kong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
McWrestler jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McWrestler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kong scores with a jab to the body.
McWrestler takes one to the chin there.

and McWrestler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kong throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and McWrestler counters with a straight right hand.

Kong is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McWrestler throws a pinpoint strike between Kong's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Kong crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and McWrestler scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dude McWrestler!

Dude McWrestler seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Hong Kong was interviewed post fight and said 'He's the champ for a reason. '.
