And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Pustansky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pustansky is looking to clinch.
Amida slips a straight right by Pustansky.
Pustansky fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pustansky just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromAmida.
Pustansky looks to land a right hand but Amida moved out of range.
Pustansky is looking to clinch but Amida is avoiding it.

Pustansky has closed the distance and engaged Amida in a clinch.

Amida's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Amida counters with a straight right hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amida takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Minoari Amida has been cut.

and Amida cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Amida makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pustansky blocks a head kick by Amida.

Pustansky closes the distance and pushes Amida back into the cage.
Amida lands with a light punch inside.

Amida throws a knee to the head but misses.
Pustansky lands an elbow that stopped Amida in his tracks for a moment.
Amida lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Amida dodges an elbow strike from Pustansky.
Amida lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Amida avoids the elbow strike from Pustansky, against the cage.
A knee to the head by Amida.

Pustansky breaks from the clinch.
Pustansky scores with a jab. Amida acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pustansky rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Amida counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Amida swats away the attempt to clinch by Pustansky.
Amida thinks about countering with a body kick.
Amida walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Pustansky throws a right hand that misses

and Amida counters with a right hand that sends Pustansky tumbling to the canvas! Can Amida finish him? He dives into Pustansky's guard looking to do just that!

Pustansky is rocked!

Amida stands and steps away. Pustansky gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Pustansky is still on wobbly legs! Can Amida finish him?
Pustansky connects with a right hand. Amida shakes it off.

Minoari Amida's cut is getting worse.
Pustansky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Amida manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pustansky just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromAmida.
Pustansky seems to have recovered his senses.
Pustansky tries to clinch up.

Pustansky closes the distance and pushes Amida back into the cage.
Amida lands an uppercut.

Amida breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pustansky wants to clinch

and Amida counters with a beautiful punch that sends Pustansky to the canvas!
Pustansky looking for a sweep. Not yet Pustansky, not yet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Pustansky is working an open guard so Amida takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Amida looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pustansky misses the body punch

and Amida counters with a big uppercut that knocks Pustansky off his feet! Amida dives into side control looking to finish!

Amida has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Amida staying out of range there.
Amida throws a counter high kick but Pustansky was just alert enough to avoid it.
Pustansky closes the distance looking to clinch
and Amida scores with a counter punch that sends Pustansky to the canvas! Amida smells blood - he's punishing Pustansky with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Pustansky has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Minoari Amida!
