Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Little Kitty Sripituksakul (ranked 244 p4p, 582 weight class) and Dom Cruz (ranked 15 p4p, 35 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Little Kitty Sripituksakul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cruz, as that shot connected.

It looks like Little Kitty Sripituksakul has been cut.
A big right from Cruz misses.

Sripituksakul has managed to clinch.
A right hand to the body from Sripituksakul.

Cruz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cruz misses with a double jab.
Cruz throws a series of punches but Sripituksakul moves out of range.
Cruz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sripituksakul's head.

Cruz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sripituksakul to the mat! Sripituksakul manages to get full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cruz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sripituksakul's guard.
Sripituksakul is pressing down on Cruz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Sripituksakul utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cruz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Cruz sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Sripituksakul looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Cruz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cruz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sripituksakul looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cruz is one step ahead there.

Sripituksakul is looking for a triangle but Cruz pushes his legs off easily.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Cruz working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cruz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sripituksakul swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cruz won't allow Sripituksakul to sweep him here.
Cruz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cruz stands up over Sripituksakul, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sripituksakul not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cruz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cruz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Sripituksakul looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cruz tries to free his leg and advance position but Sripituksakul is retaining full guard.
Cruz landing some decent shots from guard.
Cruz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cruz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sripituksakul is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cruz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Cruz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cruz cracks Sripituksakul with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Sripituksakul tries to hold on but Cruz postures up.
Cruz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sripituksakul is looking to escape.

Sripituksakul is looking to improve his position but Cruz isn't that keen on the idea.
Sripituksakul is squirming around, avoiding Cruz's attempts to control the action.
Sripituksakul is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sripituksakul is working hard here to advance position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dom Cruz dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Cruz lands a jab to the head.

Cruz drops Sripituksakul with a left right combo! Cruz follows him down to the ground into side control.

Sripituksakul is rocked!
Sripituksakul tries to bench press Cruz off him but Cruz keeps the position.
Oh Sripituksakul is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cruz lands a few punches from side control.

Sripituksakul is trying to get back to half guard.
Cruz looks up at the clock and then as Sripituksakul takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cruz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Cruz is looking to take a break and control but Sripituksakul is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sripituksakul takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
A big shot lands for Cruz! That's hurt Sripituksakul! Will he recover? Cruz fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dom Cruz!
