Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zignow Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trio Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tucker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Take me Out. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zignow Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trio Tucker! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tucker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Santos tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tucker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tucker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tucker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Santos, who protects the arm well. Tucker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Santos has escaped the position, nice work there. Santos holding on. You can see the frustration on Santos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Santos manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Tucker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Santos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tucker, into his guard. Santos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tucker had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Santos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tucker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Santos's back instead. Santos wants to control his opponent's hands but Tucker gets his hands free. Tucker is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Santos preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Tucker. Despite being in a bad position, Santos is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. Santos fending off the submission attempt from Tucker. Tucker is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Santos defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tucker is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Santos knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Santos for a finish. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zignow Santos will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Tucker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Tucker or perhaps it was just good defense by Santos which made him look bad. Tucker tries to keep at a distance but Santos has taken the fight into the clinch. Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tucker fails to land the takedown. Zignow Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trio Tucker. Santos moves into the clinch successfully.

Tucker has gone for a leg lock! Santos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tucker's guard. Santos looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Santos gets to his feet. Tucker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker darts in trying to clinch and Santos counters by clinching up. Santos lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Santos has Tucker pushed against the cage. Santos goes for a takedown attempt but Tucker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tucker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Santos counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tucker is lucky that one didn't land flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Santos counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Santos throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tucker blocks it with crossed arms. Stalling in the clinch from Santos.

Tucker stands and throws Santos's legs to the side, diving into side control. Santos gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Tucker avoids the attempt from Santos to control. Tucker goes for an armbar but Santos turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Santos. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zignow Santos dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Santos gets a clinch. Tucker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Santos breaks the clinch.
