And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mirko Cro Cop!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cro Cop is defended easily by Marshall.
Marshall swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Marshall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cro Cop manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Marshall throws a big elbow that misses.
Marshall works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cro Cop is looking to improve his position.
Marshall seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
It looks like Mirko Cro Cop has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marshall content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cro Cop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marshall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Marshall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Marshall prevents Cro Cop from standing back up.
Marshall is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cro Cop!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mirko Cro Cop's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
