Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barack Obama (ranked 6467 p4p, 4344 weight class) and Ron Fiddler (ranked 714 p4p, 544 weight class). Barack Obama had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron Fiddler!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fiddler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fiddler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Obama tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fiddler slips a jab and a cross from Obama.
Fiddler throws a low kick, looking for Obama's leg but Obama calmly moves out of range.

Fiddler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fiddler lands in his opponent's guard.

Obama had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fiddler defends it easily.

Fiddler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Obama. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Obama is trying to control Fiddler's posture but Fiddler avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Obama turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Obama manages to end up in side control.

Obama tries to clinch but Fiddler is having none of it.

Nice takedown defense from Obama. No joy for Fiddler on that attempt.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Obama.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fiddler has hold of one of Obama's legs. Obama is fighting the takedown attempt but Fiddler gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Obama is looking to sweep but instead, Fiddler has passed into half guard.

Ron Fiddler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Fiddler controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Fiddler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Fiddler.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Obama shoots in for a takedown but Fiddler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fiddler tries to break the clinch but Obama is controlling the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Obama jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fiddler walks away with a smile on his face. Obama gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Obama tries to clinch there but Fiddler circles away.
Fiddler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Obama tries to avoid it but Fiddler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Obama to the ground. Obama escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Obama appears to be looking for a big counter.
Fiddler motions for Obama to come forward. Fiddler throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Obama looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Fiddler.
Fiddler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Obama blocks a head kick by Fiddler.
As Fiddler looks to move away, Obama throws a big counter combo but Fiddler just gets out of the way.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Obama pulls guard effortlessly.
Fiddler works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Obama tries to get to full guard but Fiddler has control of the leg.
Fiddler performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Fiddler not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Fiddler is controlling the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ron Fiddler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fiddler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
