Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pak Mei (ranked 3437 p4p, 3376 weight class) and Levan Revazshvili (ranked 90 p4p, 87 weight class). Revazshvili has chosen Georgia National Anthem as his entrance music. Pak Mei is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pak Mei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 40 - 27 - 3, fighting out of New York, Levan Revazshvili! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Revazshvili keeps the fight on the outside. Revazshvili appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Revazshvili throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mei sees it coming and avoids it easily. Revazshvili digs a good body shot into Mei's ribs. Mei throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Revazshvili's waist but Revazshvili gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mei off to one side. Pak Mei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Revazshvili lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Pak Mei has been cut. Mei fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Revazshvili thows a left - swing and a miss! Revazshvili lands with a good body shot. Revazshvili leaves Mei with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pak Mei. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mei staying out of range there. Revazshvili fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mei to the ground. Revazshvili is now in Mei's guard. Mei is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Revazshvili postures up in Mei's guard and throws a big left but Mei blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mei looking to hit a scissor sweep but Revazshvili is one step ahead there. Revazshvili is looking to work some ground and pound but Mei has wrist control. Revazshvili wants to control from the top but Mei keeps moving. Revazshvili looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Revazshvili working some strikes from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mei working a defensive guard here.
Mei is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mei is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Revazshvili makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Revazshvili. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Revazshvili is on top in guard.

Mei is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Revazshvili defends well. Mei is trying to control the position but Revazshvili postures up. Mei avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Revazshvili scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mei escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Revazshvili gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mei wants to sweep here but Revazshvili controlling him for the moment. Revazshvili stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mei swivels though and keeps the full guard. Revazshvili wants to control from the top but Mei keeps moving. Revazshvili distracts Mei with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Revazshvili with a nice head shot there. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Mei throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Levan Revazshvili dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pak Mei's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Mei goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Revazshvili takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mei shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Revazshvili as he avoids it easily. Revazshvili looks to land a right hand but Mei moved out of range. Mei with a lazy takedown attempt and Revazshvili counters with a three punch combo that has Mei backing up. Mei nods at Revazshvili to acknowledge the strikes. Revazshvili shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mei pinned against the cage. Mei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Revazshvili has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Revazshvili.
Revazshvili lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Revazshvili keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Mei fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Revazshvili to the ground. Mei is now in Revazshvili's guard. Mei throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Revazshvili works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mei moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Revazshvili swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mei tries a knee to the head but Revazshvili blocks it.
Mei escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Mei makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Revazshvili misses with a wild body shot. Revazshvili circles away from the clinch attempt and Revazshvili counters with a right hand to the body. Mei fails with the takedown and Revazshvili counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mei misses with an uppercut. Revazshvili saw that one coming. Revazshvili feints the counter takedown. Some wild striking there from Revazshvili.
Mei closes this distance looking for a takedown but Revazshvili circles away. A countering left hand to the body from Revazshvili misses. Mei takes one on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mei throws a series of punches but Revazshvili avoids them all with ease. It seemed like Revazshvili was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Revazshvili fails to land with a series of punches.
Mei tries to clinch but Revazshvili moves out of range. Revazshvili doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Pak Mei is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mei misses with the body kick and Mei takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Revazshvili tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mei was well out of range. Poor timing from Revazshvili. Mei dodges the punch combination from Revazshvili.
Mei tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Revazshvili swivels and escapes. Mei goes for a double leg but Revazshvili avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Revazshvili continues to drive forward. Revazshvili misses with the head strike.

Mei goes for a takedown attempt but Revazshvili pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

This has been an exciting period of action! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mei. Mei displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Revazshvili. As Revazshvili looks to move away, Mei throws a big counter combo but Revazshvili just gets out of the way. Revazshvili throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Levan Revazshvili seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mei gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Revazshvili counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Levan Revazshvili is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Revazshvili throws a nice looking combination but Mei bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mei is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Revazshvili cracks Mei with an open hand slap. Revazshvili fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Revazshvili staying out of range there. Mei throws a head kick that misses. Mei ducks under a wild hook from Revazshvili. Revazshvili stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Revazshvili avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Revazshvili looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Mei moves in looking to clinch but Revazshvili pushes him off. Mei throws a combination. Revazshvili tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Revazshvili lands with a cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Revazshvili swats him away and circles back towards the center. Revazshvili throws a body punch but Mei moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Revazshvili. Mei does a little dance to reset his feet. Revazshvili digs a good hook to Mei's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mei has managed to clinch.
Mei jumps guard but Revazshvili stands there with Mei around his waist. Mei gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
