The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medvedevs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lindemann defends it nicely.
Lindemann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Medvedevs, pushing him back against the cage.
Lindemann has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Medvedevs clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Medvedevs covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Medvedevs can't escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Medvedevs tries to escape but Lindemann has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Medvedevs is still in real trouble! Can Lindemann finish him?
Lindemann lands a massive punch from the back that knocks Medvedevs out cold! Lindemann jumps to his feet and celebrates wildly with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Till Lindemann!
A relieved looking Till Lindemann thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
