And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson stuffs the takedown attempt from Fourteen. Fourteen gets slowly back to his feet.
Fourteen shoots in for a double leg but Dawson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dawson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fourteen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dawson has closed the distance and engaged Fourteen in a clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Dawson.

Dawson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fourteen is defending well for now.
Fourteen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dawson has him pressed against the cage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dawson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dawson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fourteen is working away from the top position though.

Subject Fourteen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
