The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White Jr moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tverdovskiy lands a shot to the body.

Tverdovskiy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tverdovskiy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from White Jr.
Tverdovskiy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. White Jr is defending well for now.
White Jr turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and White Jr manages to end up in side control.
White Jr creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tverdovskiy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White Jr has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tverdovskiy is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. White Jr yanks on the arm and Tverdovskiy is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by White Jr.
