Gomez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lancaster on the side of the head.

Lancaster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gomez circles away quickly and effectively.
Gomez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lancaster under the eye.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gomez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gomez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lancaster swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gomez flashes Lancaster a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Lancaster's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Lancaster crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Gomez punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
