The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brithouse misses with a double jab
and Sloan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Shick Brithouse has been cut.
Sloan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brithouse connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sloan scrambles back to his feet.
Brithouse throws a nice looking combination but Sloan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Sloan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No joy there for Brithouse, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sloan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brithouse swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sloan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Brithouse has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sloan missing with a left hand there. Brithouse was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brithouse punishes Sloan's body with a nice straight punch.
Sloan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
