Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Hendricks (ranked 6546 p4p, 5292 weight class) and Mike Teb (ranked 655 p4p, 596 weight class). Hendricks comes to the cage accompanied by This Fire Burns. Mike Teb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Hendricks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Teb! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendricks moves away from the strike by Teb. Teb just misses with a punch to the body.
Hendricks misses with a hook. Teb tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Hendricks closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Teb quickly recovers to half guard. Teb trying to control here.
Hendricks seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Hendricks is keen to just control but Teb is a slippery customer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hendricks is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Teb to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Our spies down at at The Factory inform us that Teb has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Hendricks throws a big elbow that misses. Teb throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Teb is looking to cinch up a triangle. Hendricks throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Teb's body to avoid the submission. Teb has instead reached around Hendricks's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Teb arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mike Teb! Kenny Hendricks was interviewed post fight and said 'I lost to a hell of a guy.
