The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
No luck for Average with that takedown attempt.
Average shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Toussaint sprawls well. Toussaint wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Average gets slowly back to his feet.
Toussaint attempts a counter takedown but Average avoids it well and moves away.
Toussaint tries to keep at a distance but Average has taken the fight into the clinch.
Average is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Let's hope that Average has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
