Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jensen Chelios (ranked 174 p4p, 186 weight class) and Potemkin Izmaylov (ranked 24 p4p, 26 weight class). Chelios comes to the cage accompanied by Shabba. Jensen Chelios could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Potemkin Izmaylov's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Izmaylov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Izmaylov duly obliges.
Chelios moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Izmaylov.
A little feinted left hand from Chelios on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Chelios wants to slow Izmaylov down by chopping away at his legs.
Izmaylov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chelios uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Izmaylov.
Izmaylov lands a lovely overhand right.
Chelios jabs Izmaylov right on the nose. Izmaylov blinks but takes it well.
Chelios lands a left and a right that send Izmaylov crashing to the mat, dazed. Chelios thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Izmaylov is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chelios slips a straight right by Izmaylov.
Izmaylov is still on wobbly legs! Can Chelios finish him?
Chelios throws a body shot but no joy.
Izmaylov appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jensen Chelios will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Chelios is looking to score with low kicks.
Izmaylov seems to have recovered his senses.
Izmaylov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chelios was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Chelios fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Izmaylov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jensen Chelios is winning the standup battle so far.
Chelios lands a big head kick that sends Izmaylov tumbling to the mat! Chelios takes a step backwards and waves Izmaylov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Izmaylov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chelios throws a big counter combination but Izmaylov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Izmaylov is still on wobbly legs! Can Chelios finish him?

and Chelios counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
