Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Cole (ranked 1587 p4p, 983 weight class) and Jan Sobieski (ranked 226 p4p, 140 weight class). Cole kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Won't Back Down. Sobieski has chosen Karnivool - Lifelike as his entrance music. Michael Cole could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jan Sobieski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sobieski is defended easily by Cole.
Sobieski fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cole on the side of the head.
Cole throws a body shot but no joy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A little feinted left hand from Cole on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sobieski feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Coles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Cole's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sobieski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cole scrambles back to his feet.

Sobieski throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Sobieski throws an elbow but Cole slips to the side and avoids it well.
Sobieski has control of an arm but Cole manages to advance to Sobieski's back!
I really don't envy Sobieski right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sobieski just trying to survive but Cole is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Cole lands punches and elbows.
Jan Sobieski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Sobieski rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sobieski is trying to control but can't.
Cole working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Well Sobieski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
