Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clam Licker (ranked 1943 p4p, 1659 weight class) and Koos Van Asch (ranked 200 p4p, 179 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Van Asch misses.
Licker throws a body punch but Van Asch moves out of range.
Licker misses the shot to the body.
Van Asch on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Van Asch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Licker manages to avoid it.
Licker is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Licker's corner calls for a 1-2. Licker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Licker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Van Asch.
Van Asch throws out a powerful jab.

Van Asch throws a head kick that misses.
Licker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Licker tries to move into range but Van Asch moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Licker feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Van Asch sprawling to the canvas! Van Asch rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Licker finish him?!

Van Asch drops his hands momentarily and Licker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Licker lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Van Asch falls backwards - clearly groggy! Licker dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

After winning the bout, Clam Licker thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
