Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Akio Kurosaki (ranked 3587 p4p, 4680 weight class) and Norman Pike (ranked 196 p4p, 243 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akio Kurosaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Norman Pike!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Pike.
Kurosaki drops his hands momentarily and Pike takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kurosaki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pike's guard.
Kurosaki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kurosaki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pike swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kurosaki advances to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kurosaki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pike defends it well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pike can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kurosaki is pressing down on Pike's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pike is holding on for now.
Kurosaki is working for a kimura but Pike is defending it quite comfortably.

Kurosaki works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kurosaki has control of Pike's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pike regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kurosaki controlling the pace for now.
Pike wants to get back to his feet.

Pike really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kurosaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kurosaki quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Kurosaki but it's paid off an Pike is forced to tap! Nice work by Kurosaki.
