Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gilmat Kirk (ranked 2380 p4p, 24877 weight class) and Bakary Mensah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirk comes to the cage accompanied by Lords of Iron. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bakary Mensah!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kirk throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mensahs head.
A short left from Kirk.
Kirk wants the takedown. Mensah is fighting it off but Kirk persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mensah's guard against the cage.
Kirk working some strikes from top position.
Kirk drops back looking for a leg! Mensah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mensah manages to kick Kirk off! Kirk jumps back into Mensah's guard.
Kirk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mensah controls Kirk momentarily but Kirk frees himself.
Kirk advances to half guard.
Kirk is working for a submission of some sort.
Kirk is working for a kimura but Mensah is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kirk is trying for a kimura here. Mensah looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kirk wins by kimura!
