The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montpoisante fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Montpoisante ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Collins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Collins rushes Montpoisante and presses him up against the cage.
Montpoisante digs a right hand into Collins's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Collins's gas tank.

Montpoisante swings wildly with an uppercut but Collins uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've been informed that Montpoisante has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
