Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guy McMann!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMann swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cockerspaniel.
McMann lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
McMann moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Donk. McMann catches Cockerspaniel right on the button with a cross.
A slow jab from Cockerspaniel misses its intended target.

McMann defending well as Cockerspaniel loads up on a big left hand.
We've been told by Cockerspaniel's head coaches at Cornette Incorporated that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
McMann listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Cockerspaniel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McMann throws out the jab.
McMann takes a swing at Cockerspaniel's ribcage but misses.
McMann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cockerspaniel.
McMann connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cockerspaniel. Cockerspaniel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
McMann has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Cockerspaniel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cockerspaniel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cockerspaniel misses with an uppercut. McMann saw that one coming.
McMann keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

McMann lands with a hook. Cockerspaniel tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cockerspaniel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A lazy left from McMann finds it's target.
McMann misses with a looping left.
Cockerspaniel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McMann bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cockerspaniel's head.
Cockerspaniel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

McMann misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cockerspaniel.
Cockerspaniel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cockerspaniel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
An inside leg kick lands from McMann.
McMann looks to land a body kick but Cockerspaniel moved away.
Cockerspaniel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McMann.
Cockerspaniel takes one to the side of the head.
Cockerspaniel lands a nice looking body kick.
Cockerspaniel loads up on a big right hand but McMann slips the punch.
McMann moves out of range of the body kick from Cockerspaniel.
Cockerspaniel scores with a kick to the midsection.
McMann lands with an overhand left.
Cockerspaniel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Cockerspaniel scores with a punch to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McMann avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
McMann connects with a body shot that sends Cockerspaniel's belly button to the back.

Cockerspaniel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McMann sprawling to the canvas! McMann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cockerspaniel finish him?!

McMann is rocked!
A jab lands there for McMann.
McMann is still on wobbly legs! Can Cockerspaniel finish him?
Cockerspaniel circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends McMann tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Cockerspaniel wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Calvin Cockerspaniel!
