Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Thunder (ranked 3304 p4p, 4183 weight class) and War Path (ranked 479 p4p, 579 weight class). War Path is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jonny Thunder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, War Path!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Path avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Thunder darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Thunder misses with a few strikes there.
Path closes the distance and clinches.
Thunder digs a right hand underneath Path's ribcage. Path let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Thunder digs a right hand into Path's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Path's gas tank.
Thunder lands with a short punch from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Thunder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Thunder struggles to land a body shot inside as Path controls his hands.
Thunder throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Paths head.
Thunder lands with a left to the head.
Thunder lands a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Thunder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Path can't find room to land a body shot as Thunder controls the action.
Thunder definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Path is looking to control Thunder's arms but Thunder gets an underhook and turns him. Now Path has his back to the cage.
Thunder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Path bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Thunder drops Path with a beautiful combination! Path stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thunder is looking for the KO!
It looks like War Path has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Path on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Thunder misses with a combination
and Path counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Path throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thunder's waist but Thunder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Path off to one side.
Path misses with a jab to the body
and Thunder counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Path badly! Thunder follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Path out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Thunder finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jonny Thunder!
