Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Louis!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mordino pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mordino throws a lazy head kick
enabling Louis to counter with a crisp jab.
Louis throws a body punch but Mordino moves out of range.
Louis checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mordino fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Louis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mordino paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mordino throws a counter high kick but Louis was just alert enough to avoid it.
Louis just misses with a punch to the body.
Louis looks to land a right hand but Mordino moved out of range.

Louis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Mordino's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Louis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mordino scrambles back to his feet.

Mordino takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Mordino moves forwards but Louis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Victor Mordino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mordino with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Louis to score with a decent uppercut.

and Louis counters with a nice body kick.
Mordino throws the kick towards the body but Louis avoids it.
Louis is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mordino had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Mordino takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Louis connects with an inside leg kick.

Mordino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Louis lands with an uppercut that bounces Mordino off the ropes and back into range.

A little jabbing left from Louis on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Louis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Louis wants to clinch up but Mordino keeps it at a distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mordino throws a combination that misses
and Louis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mordino's knee momentarily.
Louis blocks a head kick by Mordino.
Louis tries to clinch but Mordino is having none of it.
Louis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Our sources have told us that Mordino has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Mordino is trying to force a seperation but Louis has the dominant position.
Louis lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Mordino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Louis has managed to clinch.
Mordino is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Louis is keeping busy.
Louis lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.

Louis has Mordino pressed against the ropes.
Louis lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Louis pushes off an throws an elbow but Mordino leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Mordino misses with a hook to the ribs.

Mordino is rocked!
It looks like Victor Mordino has been cut.
Louis lands an elbow inside.
Oh Mordino is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Louis mutters something to Mordino before pushing him back against the ropes. As Mordino comes back towards him, Louis unloads a hook from the very depths of hell that knocks Mordino clean out! Oh. My. God. That is some seriously brutal stuff right there! What a knockout!

In his post fight interview, Tom Louis started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
