Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lorenzo Bataglia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mystic Marley! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bataglia with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've been told by Bataglia's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Lorenzo Bataglia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bataglia throws a body punch but Marley moves out of range. Marley looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bataglia changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bataglia connects with a leg kick. Marley takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Jab, jab by Bataglia - just one landing. Bataglia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Marley appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marley takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bataglia lands a nice looking body kick. Bataglia scores with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bataglia swings for the body but Marley moves out of range.
Marley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bataglia.
Bataglia swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bataglia ducks under a wild hook from Marley. Bataglia feints and then cracks Marley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marley down. Marley moves forwards but Bataglia connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bataglia lunges at Marley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Marley's hand. Bataglia throws a body shot but no joy. Marley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donk. Bataglia catches Marley right on the button with a cross. Bataglia scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Marley misses with a wild body shot. Bataglia jabs Marley to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bataglia lands with a hook. Marley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Marley takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Marley is rocked! Bataglia shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Marley takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Bataglia sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Marley bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
