PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tama Ruiha (ranked 1638 p4p, 2660 weight class) and Sodium Chloride (ranked 228 p4p, 358 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ruiha might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Polynesian Traditional Music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chloride. Chloride with a poor takedown and Ruiha counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Sodium Chloride has been cut. Ruiha avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ruiha scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chloride doesn't seem bothered though. Ruiha connects with a crisp jab. Sloppy strikes from Ruiha. Those never looked like landing. A countering left hand to the body from Chloride misses. Chloride walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Ruiha swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tama Ruiha! Tama Ruiha spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
