Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saipam Muwaitang (ranked 3660 p4p, 5356 weight class) and Jeremy Scott (ranked 481 p4p, 615 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jeremy Scott was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saipam Muwaitang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Scott! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muwaitang misses with a double jab.
Scott on the wrong end of a nice jab. Muwaitang misses with a combination
and Scott counters with a single leg into guard. Muwaitang didn't expect that. Muwaitang is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Scott makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Muwaitang avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Muwaitang preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Muwaitang wants to stand but Scott is controlling the position. Scott loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Scott in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Muwaitang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Scott. Scott trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Muwaitang wants to stand and escape but Scott is having none of it. Muwaitang trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muwaitang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Muwaitang tries to get out of the position. Scott is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Muwaitang is looking to stand up but Scott isn't so interested in that idea. Scott postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Muwaitang wants to stand but Scott is controlling the position. Muwaitang pushes Scott off and gets back to his feet.
Scott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Muwaitang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Muwaitang wriggles free and stands up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab lands there for Muwaitang. Scott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Muwaitang has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Scott is on him like a limpet, forcing Muwaitang back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott goes for a takedown in the clinch but Muwaitang prevents it.
Muwaitang is trying to force a seperation but Scott has the dominant position. Muwaitang tries to circle away but Scott has him pinned against the cage. Scott turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Scott looks winded! Muwaitang is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Muwaitang taking punishment in the form of punches.
Scott fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Muwaitang bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Muwaitang swinging wildly here.
Scott changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Saipam Muwaitang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Muwaitang throws a poor cross that misses
and Scott counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Muwaitang scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muwaitang connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Scott tumbling to the canvas! Muwaitang pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Scott was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Saipam Muwaitang!
