Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Medzavi Nwaoge (ranked 1699 p4p, 4246 weight class) and David Kong (ranked 217 p4p, 487 weight class). Nwaoge comes to the ring accompanied by Buganda Music Ensemble - Mulirwana. Kong has chosen X Gonna Give it To ya as his entrance music. Medzavi Nwaoge could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Kong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Medzavi Nwaoge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Kong! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nwaoge with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nwaoge gets a clinch. Nwaoge lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kong backwards.
It looks like David Kong has been cut. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Nwaoge just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kong's brow. Nice body punch from Nwaoge. Kong being controlled against the ropes. Kong comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Kong tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Nwaoge has Kong pushed against the ropes. Nwaoge wants a takedown.
Kong wants to stall.
Nwaoge makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Nwaoge trying to stall but Kong improves his position.
Nwaoge has Kong pressed against the ropes, preventing Kong from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Nwaoge gets through Kong's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Nwaoge misses with an elbow strike.
A nice left hand lands by Nwaoge.
This has been an exciting period of action! Nwaoge blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong takes a shot to the head. Nwaoge manages to pull guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Nwaoge pulls Kong in close to prevent any damage. Nwaoge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Nwaoge looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kong is defending well. Nwaoge quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kong has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Nwaoge celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Medzavi Nwaoge! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Medzavi Nwaoge made sure he mentioned Tengelü Hekite, along with how happy he was to win his fight. The defeated David Kong had this to say: 'DAMN!'.
