Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stoner Steve (ranked 24683 p4p, 4187 weight class) and Phol Murhaa (ranked 775 p4p, 541 weight class). Phol Murhaa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stoner Steve!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phol Murhaa!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve misses with a body shot.
A nice side step and Murhaa releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Steve moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Steve lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Murhaa circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Steve. Those never looked like landing.
Murhaa throws a body shot but no joy.
Steve just misses with a punch to the body.
Steve pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Murhaa is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Steve with a body shot.
Steve misses with a straight right.
Murhaa tries to move into range but Steve moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've been told by Steve's head coaches at Training Grounds that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stoner Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steve is looking to land body kicks.
Steve misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murhaa.
Steve misses with a lunging right hand
and Murhaa counters with a nice uppercut.
Steve throws a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Murhaa scores with a nice right hand.
Steve steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murhaa.
Murhaa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Steve.
Steve slips under a jab.
Steve is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Steve avoids the body shot from Murhaa.
Steve went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Murhaa. Steve does a little dance to reset his feet.
Steve moves away from the strike by Murhaa.
Steve appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Murhaa just misses with a punch to the body.
Steve lands a slapping body shot.
Steve connects with a body shot.
Murhaa throws a series of punches but Steve moves out of range.
Steve half committed to a counter leg kick.
Steve steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murhaa.
Steve misses with a wild body shot.
Steve throws a lazy uppercut
and Steve takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Murhaa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Murhaa has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Steve's corner calls for a 1-2. Steve obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A left lands for Steve.
Steve fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Murhaa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steve throws a hook to the side of Murhaa's head but Murhaa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Steve throws a leg kick that misses.
Steve uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Murhaa has time to react.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murhaa swings for the body but Steve moves out of range.

Steve feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Murhaa sprawling to the canvas! Murhaa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Steve finish him?!

Murhaa is rocked!
Steve shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Murhaa is still on wobbly legs! Can Steve finish him?
Steve lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Murhaa head around and knocks him out cold! Steve hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stoner Steve!
An out of breath Stoner Steve thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
