Novoselic comes to the cage accompanied by The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here - Alice in Chains. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Rodrigez fails with an attempt to clinch.

Alex Novoselic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rodrigez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Novoselic throws a looping overhand right but Rodrigez ducks down to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rodrigez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Novoselic has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Marijuana Gardens in the buildup to the fight.
Rodrigez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Novoselic avoids it really well and circles away.
Rodrigez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Novoselic sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Alex Novoselic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emanuel Rodrigez.

Novoselic steps in with a hook that catches Rodrigez right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Novoselic follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rodrigez looks absolutely devastated.
