Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Joteel (ranked 441 p4p, 732 weight class) and Elazar Shalit (ranked 46 p4p, 79 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Joteel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Moogwalze. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shalit throws a lazy right hand but Joteel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've been informed that Shalit has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Shalit misses with a straight right.
Joteel clobbers Shalit with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Joteel lands with a kick to the ribs.
Joteel throws a nice inside leg kick.
Shalit scores with a hook to the body. Joteel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A slow jab from Joteel misses its intended target.
Jacque Joteel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shalit misses with an uppercut

Shalit swings for the body but Joteel moves out of range.
Joteel takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Joteel throws a low kick but it's checked well by Shalit.

As Shalit backs away, Joteel returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Joteel bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

It seemed like Shalit was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Joteel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shalit checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Shalit cracks Joteel with an open hand slap.

Joteel lands a right hook to the body.
Joteel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Shalit on the side of the head.
Shalit slips under a jab.
Joteel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Shalit misses with an uppercut. Joteel saw that one coming.
Joteel lands with an uppercut that bounces Shalit off the cage and back into range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Joteel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shalit throws out the jab.
Shalit lands with a hook. Joteel tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Shalit lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Joteel falls backwards - clearly groggy! Shalit dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
