The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reese throws a lazy head kick
and Washington counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Javon Reese has been cut.
Reese loads up on a big right hand but Washington slips the punch.
Javon Reese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Washington steps in with a hook that catches Reese right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Washington follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Reese looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xavier Washington!
A relieved looking Xavier Washington thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
