The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamenev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nadadora.
Kamenev tries to counter by closing the distance.

Nadadora lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Nadadora tries to throw a body punch but Kamenev avoids it by throwing Nadadora back against the cage.

Kamenev swings wildly with an uppercut but Nadadora uses good head movement to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nadadora is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kamenev is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Nadadora to the mat. Nadadora regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kamenev is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nadadora has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kamenev misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Kamenev has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Kamenev jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Nadadora is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Nadadora and Kamenev has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Nadadora has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Kamenev is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nadadora is surviving well by controlling Kamenev's body position as best he can.

Kamenev throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Nadadora has his hands clasped together but Kamenev breaks the hold and Nadadora is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kamenev!
