The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nice shot lands for Hererra.
Hererra throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hawthrone counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hawthrone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hawthrone drops back looking for a leg! Hererra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hererra manages to kick Hawthrone off! Hawthrone jumps back into Hererra's guard.
Hererra on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hererra tries to get out of the position.
Hawthrone is standing up over Hererra. Hererra looks to escape but Hawthrone dives into side control.
Hawthrone has hold of Hererra's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hererra seems comfortable defending it but Hawthrone has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hererra is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hererra is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hawthrone couldn't care less - he's delighted!
