Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harald Harling (ranked 919 p4p, 2048 weight class) and Jack McScramble (ranked 123 p4p, 264 weight class). Harling comes to the cage accompanied by The HU - Wolf totem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harald Harling!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack McScramble!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McScramble misses the shot to the body.
It looked like Harling wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Harling swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McScramble fails with the takedown
and Harling counters with a lovely straight right hand!

McScramble bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McScramble creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Harling sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Harling wants to get back to his feet but McScramble drags him back down.
McScramble fails to land a wild elbow strike.
McScramble trying to control the action but Harling is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McScramble creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Harling sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
McScramble lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McScramble wants to control but Harling is keeping him busy.
McScramble works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
McScramble wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harling keeps working.
McScramble is putting a hurting on Harling here, landing some big shots from side control.

McScramble tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
McScramble trying to control the position but Harling is working away.
McScramble works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harling is not content to let McScramble control the position.
Harling defending against the ground and pound.
McScramble working the ground and pound but Harling is defending the strikes.

McScramble is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Harling looks calm but he's in trouble here. McScramble gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Harling is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! McScramble lets go of the hold and Harling can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jack McScramble!
Jack McScramble is the new lightweight champion!
After winning the bout, Jack McScramble thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Harald Harling stepped up to the mic, saying 'You win lose, you some some.'.
