Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Brown tries to clinch but Petrov moves away
and Petrov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brown throws a jab when Petrov was well out of range.
Brown throws a lazy uppercut
and Petrov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Petrov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brown moves into the clinch.
Brown gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Petrov won't allow Brown to pass to mount.
Petrov tries to kick Brown off but Brown keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Brown keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Brown wants to free his trapped foot but Petrov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Brown is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Brown seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Brown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Petrov sees it coming and defends easily.
Brown content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Brown has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Petrov defend it? Brown steps over the head and cranks it - Petrov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brown!
