Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Remi Chavaski (ranked 823 p4p, 1846 weight class) and Walter Waters (ranked 87 p4p, 184 weight class). Walter Waters will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Remi Chavaski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Walter Waters! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chavaski misses with a hook. Waters is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Chavaski walks into a left hand. Chavaski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Waters throws a right hand that misses
and Chavaski moves into the clinch. Waters avoids the elbow strike from Chavaski, against the cage.

Chavaski blocks an uppercut.
Chavaski has picked Waters up - he's going for a ride! Chavaski dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Waters is trying to stand up here but Chavaski is controlling him well. Chavaski trying to control the action but Waters is working from the bottom. Chavaski is trying to work for a kimura but Waters is defending well.
Chavaski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chavaski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Waters sees it coming and defends easily. Waters is not content to let Chavaski control the position. Chavaski passes to full mount! Chavaski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Waters is trying to stand. Chavaski wants to finish this one by submission but Waters is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chavaski. Chavaski has control of Waters's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Waters regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waters defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Chavaski. Chavaski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Chavaski is working for a guillotine from mount but Waters frees his head quite easily.
Waters looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Chavaski is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Waters is surviving well by controlling Chavaski's body position as best he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chavaski sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chavaski working for a guillotine from mount but Waters is in no mood to give up. Chavaski controlling the pace for now. Chavaski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Waters can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Chavaski is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Chavaski extends the arm and Waters is forced to tap!
