Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Jason Skillz (ranked 23879 p4p, 23519 weight class) and Jason Wysocki (ranked 502 p4p, 517 weight class). Wysocki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Joe Exotic Country Music kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jason Skillz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jason Wysocki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Skillz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Wysocki!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wysocki thuds his right hand into Skillz's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wysocki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wysocki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Skillz. That did some damage!
Skillz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wysocki was well out of range. Poor timing from Skillz.
Wysocki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Skillz doesn't seem bothered though.
Skillz dodges the punch combination from Wysocki.
It looked like Skillz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wysocki.
Wysocki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Skillz counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Skillz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wysocki clinches up against the ropes.
Skillz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Skillz lands a shoulder strike.
Skillz tries to throw a body punch but Wysocki avoids it by throwing Skillz back against the ropes.
Skillz putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Wysocki in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Skillz stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Skillz.
Skillz misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Wysocki breaks the clinch.
Skillz checks a leg kick.
Wysocki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Skillz. That did some damage!
Skillz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've been informed that Wysocki has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Wysocki misses with a right hand
and Skillz counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Wysocki to the mat! Skillz runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Wysocki is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Wysocki is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skillz throws a front kick to the face that drops Wysocki face first to the mat! Oh, he's in big trouble! He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Front Kick). Jason Skillz!
A relieved looking Jason Skillz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
