Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Lawrence (ranked 2902 p4p, 3041 weight class) and Lue Randle (ranked 393 p4p, 400 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eugene Lawrence !
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lue Randle!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence gets a takedown into half guard.

Randle has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lawrence off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lawrence dives in for a single leg takedown but Randle sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Randle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Randle lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Lawrence kicks off Randle and gets to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lawrence sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Randle's guard.
Randle is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lawrence 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lawrence 's back!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Randle. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Randle is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lawrence knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lawrence for a finish.
