PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stances Slumponyhu (ranked 2011 p4p, 1618 weight class) and Lee Tassen (ranked 247 p4p, 201 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slumponyhu lands with a nice combination. Tassen backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Lee Tassen has been cut.
Slumponyhu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tassen moves away.
Slumponyhu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stances Slumponyhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slumponyhu throws a series of punches but Tassen moves out of range.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tassen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
